Hot off the press (9/2025): Congrats to Jocelyn Liu for leading our latest publication, “Open Angle Glaucoma Treatment Preferences of the United States Patient Population” in The Journal of Glaucoma! This cross-sectional survey study evaluated the current treatment preferences of US glaucoma specialists for open-angle glaucoma, finding that most preferred selective laser trabeculoplasty over topical medications for treatment-naïve patients with ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma.

(7/2025): Congrats to Iris Kim for leading our latest publication, “Time to Progression to Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes” in JAMA Network Open! This study developed and validated survival models using EHR data from the University of California Health Data Warehouse to predict which patients with diabetic retinopathy are at highest risk of progression to more severe, vision-threatening disease.
