1. Department of Ophthalmology postdoctoral supplement

The Department of Ophthalmology is pleased to provide a $750 per month ($9,000 annually) supplement to the postdoctoral stipend.
 
2. David and Joyce Copenhagen Annual Prize for Best Published Paper in Visual Sciences

This award, made possible by the generosity of Joyce and Dr. David Copenhagen, recognizes and rewards a UCSF graduate student or postdoctoral associate for their contributions to the visual sciences. Any UCSF trainee who publishes a first-author paper and is mentored by a faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology can be nominated by their mentor for this award.
 
3. Social events

We have monthly socials with coffee and snacks, year-round postdoc socials, and special events to celebrate Summer, the National Postdoc Appreciation Week in September, and the December holidays!
