The Vision and Ophthalmology Interest Group

Our group serves to increase awareness of the field of ophthalmology and vision research. We provide information to interested medical students on ongoing ophthalmology events, opportunities, and courses.  And to complement these departmental resources, we organize events for students. These activities include student-faculty networking events, Q&A sessions on aspects of the ophthalmology residency application process, engaging lectures on emerging medical, scientific, and political issues in the field, and opportunities for research, shadowing, and volunteering in the community.
