8:30-10:00am– Grand Rounds Lecture: Dr. Juliette McGregor, PhD, “Advancing vision restoration therapies with adaptive optics retinal imaging”

  1. Summarize the current status of optogenetic and photoreceptor replacement therapies for vision restoration.
  2. Describe which adaptive optics imaging modalities offer insight into the performance of new therapeutics.
  3. Explain why the non-human primate is an important animal model in preclinical development of new therapies in ophthalmology.
