9:15-10:00am–Grand Rounds Lecture: “Secondary IOLs in Children:  Who, When, and How,” Deborah K. VanderVeen, MD (Host: Julius Oatts, MD)

  • Describe characteristics of good candidates for secondary IOL surgery
  • Describe how ocular growth may affect decisions about IOL implantation
  • Recognize which eyes may not be good candidates for IOL implantation
