9:15 am – 10:00 am — Grand Rounds McLeod Leadership Lecture: “Leadership in Academic Medicine and Beyond: A Conversation with UC President Michael V. Drake”

This lecture, endowed by UCSF alumnus David F. Chang, MD, honors the exemplary leadership of Stephen D. McLeod, MD, who was Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology from 2005 to 2022 and is currently the CEO of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The lectureship brings a well-respected leader in any industry to speak about leadership development with the goal of enhancing leadership skills for trainees and faculty of the UCSF Department of Ophthalmology.
