9:15-10:00am–Grand Rounds Lecture: “Cellular mechanisms of photoreceptor disk membrane renewal”, David Williams, PhD (Hosts: Aparna Lakkaraju, PhD & Max Nachury, PhD)

  • Learning about advanced microscopy approaches being used to study photoreceptor and RPE cell biology.
  • Understand how photoreceptor disk membranes are formed.
  • Learn about RPE cell cultures, including those from stem cells, for studying RPE cellular mechanisms.
