9:15-10:00 AM: Grand Rounds Lecture: “Enhance Stress Resilience Training for Surgeons: How Individual-Level Interventions Shape Systems and Culture”, Carter Lebares, MD, FACS, MAMSE

  1.  Critical review and analyze wellbeing interventions and distinguish those that are evidence -based and feasible for surgeons vs. not.
  2.  Identify barriers and enablers to the implementation of wellbeing interventions in healthcare regionally and nationally.
  3. Describe the unique role and impact of individuals-, system- and- cultural- level interventions on healthcare reform. Discuss leading frameworks for successful design and implementation of interventions in local settings.
