9:15-10 am: Grand Rounds Lecture: “Pathways to and from the Lysosome in Health and Retinal Degenerative Disease”, Clare Futter, PhD/Host: Aparna Lakkaraju, PhD

  • To learn how growth factor receptors can be trafficked to the lysosome to downregulate growth factor receptor signalling
  • To gain an understanding of the formation and function of membrane contact sites between the endoplasmic reticulum and the endocytic pathway
  •  To gain an understanding of the importance of lysosome function and turnover in the retinal pigment epithelium.
