9:15-10:00am–Grand Rounds Lecture: Lin Gan, Ph.D., “Transcriptional Regulation of Retinal Ganglion Cell Development” (Host: Xin Duan, PhD)

  • To understand the genetic regulatory network in the development of retinal ganglion cells
  • To understand how mutations in genes cause congenital optic nerve defects
  • To learn how mutation analysis can be used to identify disease genes and to improve retinal ganglion cell regeneration
